I've listened to the album about twenty times over the past three days (took it to the gym, hence the heavy rotation)
and I am still not tired of it. That's how much I like it.
The only person who normally receives that sort of treatment is Mr. Sammet.
It's a great album and you can be very proud of it!

I'll leave the song-by-song review to Thierry because he will be much better at it than me.
And don't ask me for my favourite song. Like I wrote on Facebook, it is impossible to choose.

So ... when does the tour start?

Thank you very much! :hug
A tour, hard to say, coz we do not even know how to play in our own coutry for we come from different towns :)

I see the problem :) .
Guess that means single gigs on weekends when all band members have time to travel.

One question re the album: Coming Home has a very high pitch. Sounds like one of those songs that are a bitch to perform live. Would you leave it out or just go for it?

Yes, it was a very hard song to sing even in the studio. But we'll go for it. So many high pitch notes were f*cked up live and a dozen more wouldn't harm

That's the spirit !
Well, if you ever do play a gig, ask somebody to bring a camcorder and stream it on Youtube or your website.
Would love to see it.

Of course we'll record the gig :) I've always been curious about how I look on stage
Doing my first interview today. Gosh, I'm so excited!! If you think you ever felt nervous, you know nothing (Jon Snow)

That's part of the stardom, my friend.

The CD finally arrived on Thursday. After two and a half weeks. DHL is fast as lightning.
But I am not complaining, because a) I am very happy to have it and b) the booklet is signed and it has a personal message for me written on it.
Very cool !!!
Give my thanks to Alexey and Andrey :) .

I am just listening to it.
You did a great job for your first interview!
Good answers and almost no stammering :) .
Also a good mixture with the Q&A and the songs.
The question about Paris was a bit mean, though.
What are you supposed to say?

I love the accent from your interviewer!
He must be Scottish or Irish, totally hot.
Sorry  .

Cool interview!
Handsome guys on stage, eh? :D

Vielen Dank :)
Yeah, I was a bit nervous, it was the first interview ever. And we planned to do it with the rest of the band, but for some technical reasons it never happened, so I was left one-on-one :) and the connection was shitty, I had to reask him a couple of times, for I heard nothing more than "Beorn bup-bup-bup album sh-sh-sh-sh what bup-bum-bup ever?"
Handsome? Yes, why not. I just call the things by their proper names
The interviewer is from somewhere around Newcastle-upon-Tyne or how ever it is spelled.

Bitteschön :) .

Having to ask the interviewer to repeat questions probably didn't help with the nervousness.
It's a shame they couldn't make the conference call work to include the rest of the band.
Would have been good to hear them too.
And better get used to the one-on-one situations. As the singer, you are the voice of the band in more than one way.

Handsome? Yes, why not. I just call the things by their proper names

Modesty is over-rated.
Ask Mr. Sammet.

Ah, an Engllishman.
I am aware how shallow it is but give me a great british accent and my brain turns into mush :D .

OK, that guy is not too excited about it.
Just take it as incentive to show him with the next album and blow his socks off then.
Don't know about you Rosso, but when people tell me that my creative work is not good enough, I get really really motivated to do better. Just to pay them back :D .

How is the album doing, btw?
Are the sales what you expected?
No need to give any numbers, just curious.

Well, I wouldn`t say that was a bad review. You know, it`s quiet funny when the reviewer says it was a mediocre album but he would recomend some songs to listen to for they are really awesome and names half of the album :D
Anyway, I personally will jump out of my pants to do the next album sound even better. After New Year Holidays I`m going to attend some vocal classes :)
About the album.. well, the sales aren`t what I expected.. I thought we`d make it to Bilboard`s Top-10, but.. Nah, kidding  The sales are better that we expected.

Ah, that's what the lyrics are ...
Just kidding!

I like the rain effect and the ship firing its guns. Very nice. The swirling lyrics and the melting (or freezing?) logo also look good.
What makes me dizzy is the camera pulling in and out. A few more changes of scenery would have been good but I guess you had to work off what you had from the album cover?

Yeah, he seems to be unsure what he wants to say. He also mentions that one has to like the high pitch of your voice (in that context it sounds like he doesn't) and one of his recommendations is Coming Home. Can't get any higher :) .

Anyway, glad to read the sales exceed your expectations. Fingers crossed it will keep on selling until the next one is ready!

Thanks! Yeah, I know there could be done a lot with the video, but it was my first experience not in lyric-videos, but in motion videos in general. And therefore it was quite a challenge :) and I really tried to do the best I can without knowing much about it :D

:o
You made the video?
OK, in that case and coming from somebody who has no clue whatsoever about motion videos : Good job!
For a first try definitely a good job.
