Just received an order from AFM webshop, I bought some stuff during the winter sale :)

Edguy - Painting on the Wall
Masterplan - Novum Initium (digipak)
Nightmare - One Night of Insurrection (CD + DVD)
Nightmare - The Burden of God

Can't wait to watch the Nightmare DVD, they're soooo underrated IMO and I've got so many good memories seeing them live some 9-10 years ago :)

The Last Successor - self-titled

Prog metal from...China? Don't see that every day. In fact, they're the first Chinese metal band to enter my collection. It came in a pretty wooden box too.

Blind Guardian - Beyond The Red Mirror

I didn't like the album that much at first, but after a few listening sessions, it gets better and better.
New things to discover all time. Not one of my favourites - that slot is still (and might be forever) kept by Nightfall in Middle-Earth - but a good album and worth buying it.

Hoth - Oathbreaker

It's a concept album about Darth Vader, and the band's logo is in the shape of Vader's TIE fighter. So this is a thing. (As extreme metal goes, it's damned catchy too)

A couple orders came in at once, plus I made a pilgrimage out to HMV on this fine new-release-day, so here's today's music:

Alcest - Shelter (Pretty-sounding shoegaze)
Cyntia - Woman (CD/Blu-ray. They used to play power metal, but from what I've heard so far, this album is way more pop-rock. But their style of power metal was always pretty poppy, so I can accept this easily.)
A Forest Of Stars - Beware The Sword You Cannot See (Boxset, #382 of 500. Eccentric black metal with a lot of different influences. The boxset includes a bonus disc with exclusive songs, some art-cards of the beautiful cover art, and...a small vial of green tea.)
Iron Attack! - ~Raise A Flag~ (Power metal with an unmistakable Japanese flair)
Noekk - The Water Sprite (Doom metal from Germany. The label sent this as a free gift with the Forest Of Stars boxset; thanks!)
Psycroptic - Psycroptic (Tasmanian tech-death. As much as I miss Matthew Chalk and his freakish alien vocals and creepy lyrical storytelling, this is alright on the first listen. Got it cheap.)
World Order - 2012 (CD/Blu-ray. This is as pop as it gets, I have to admit.)

One of my most eclectic single-day hauls in a long time.

Haven't posted in a while, I ordered some stuff a month ago:

Blind Guardian - Twilight of the Gods single
Blind Guardian - Beyond the Red Mirror (digibook)
Nightwish - Élan single
Paradise Lost - Original album series (3 latest albums for a cheap price)

+ Waverly Lies North - A Soul in the Void

French sympho/heavy band, really really good, I came to know them as I reviewed the CD for our webzine, and decided to buy it afterwards.

Once more, haven't posted in a while...

Ordered from the Internet in late May:

Maladie - ...Still... (black metal, a friend sings in it :) )
The Unguided - Hell Frost
The Offspring - Conspiracy of One
Children of Bodom - Tokyo Warhearts

Then, at the ADX/Manigance gig: ADX - Immortel (+ live bonus DVD from their RaismesFest '09 gig I attended :) ), I got it signed by the band :)

In the North, a month ago in a second-hand store:
Suprême NTM - s/t (French rap, I was listening to this a lot something like 15/17 years ago, and realised I still know most of the lyrics  )

And this week, in another second-hand shop:

Children of Bodom - Are You Dead Yet?
Gojira - L'Enfant Sauvage

And, for a total of 10€:

The Black Eyed Peas - The Beginning... twice (one for ourselves and the second one for my sister)
ADX - VIII Sentence live
André Matos - The Turn of the Lights
Edenbridge - My Earth Dream

That's all, folks... for today! :) :innocent:

Wow, you have been busy, Thierry :) .

Last CD I bought was Borealis - Purgatory.

One of the songs was on the latest Metal Hammer Compilation.
Never heard of the band before, but really liked the song. And the singer's voice.
Bought the whole album and listened to it for two weeks in a row.
Money well spent :) .

Elvenking - The Night of Nights (CD+DVD, watching it right now, it rules!!! :) )
Masterplan - Keep your Dream aLive (CD+DVD)

And on the same day, received my Aurora Borealis - The Path to Atlas CD. That's post-rock/ambiant stuff made by a Belgian friend of mine who now lives in Bulgaria. And that's excellent! :)
