 That's a good one. And thanks for passing it on to me. I know what my brain will be singing to me for the rest of the day :) .

I was watching some tv show a couple of days ago and one of the cast members mentioned "helicopter" in some context.
I giggled for about a minute. That word cracks me up every time! And in the most inappropriate situations.
I confused the hell out of a friend some time back because she mentioned the word and I burst into laughter  .

Muz and I quite often will look at each other and say "helicopter" if the word is mentioned somewhere or if the song comes on the car stereo!

HA! :D

Spreading the helicopter virus  .

We were listening to that song in the car, on the way to the gig in Kaufbeuren and when Tobi yelled the word, five people started laughing.

I am laughing just at the memory of it now!

Well, just as a preface as to why I tend to get up late-ish in the morning, I'm a writer and work from home :P But anyway, I seem to have a greater-than-normal propensity for rolling over in the morning and staring at a clock that reads 9:29. Time to get up!

I probably posted this elsewhere on the forum last year, but when I saw Avantasia in Quebec City, I was walking around town the day of the show in my Tinnitus Over Europe shirt when this guy comes up from behind me and compliments me on my tastes. We get talking about power metal, and it turns out that he had no idea Avantasia was playing that night - he was from New Jersey, and was up in Canada on some unrelated business with his mom. We gave him directions to get one-day tickets to the show; I hope he was able to make it. :eek

Not an "Edguy moment", but an "Avantasia one":

Friday afternoon, we were on our own, her Mum was having a break, and I decided I wanted to sing for her...

"Farewell" happened to be the very first song I sang to our newborn child, as she was sleeping in my arms. :)
Maybe it's better for you, mankind, not to know what's going on!

:)
That is so cute !
And since she didn't wake up, you must have done a good job.

Did I mention how happy I am for you and Aurélie?
I am glad you can experience this wonder and have your life turned upside down in the best possible way :hug .

So Titi... How does it feel to be a father?
AND a father to a little precious baby girl?
Please always be kind/gentle to her.
Even when you need to reprimand her and be firm.
A father's words/actions will follow her with every man that crosses her path as she wonders to herself if she is 'worthy' of his best treatment and love.

This is actually an Avantasia moment. But i was watching a mob of Kangaroos this morning in the fog and on the icy grass and Restless Heart & Obsidian Skies started playing and such a peace washed over me. It was so beautiful and energising.
